I just came across a press release from last month. Apparently Battat is debuting a line of toys for exclusive sale at WalMart. The Baby Genius toys are aimed at 2 to 5 year olds. The Baby Genius line is based on a principle of using music as a core learning tool to help kids develop their communication and imagination.
Inclusion at Walmart will undoubtedly reach a wide audience at a very attractive price point- probably 5-20 bucks or so.
We are always happy to hear of any efforts to bring educational kids toys to a larger market. The next time I am in Wal-Mart I will see if they have anything good for my 2 year old daughter.

Play and Learn with Educational Toys
I believe all babies and children need a lot of play time. Play is a healthy thing and also away to learn and grow. These days there are more and more toys made that help kids learn. Educational kids toys are important to parents and their children and worth discussing in a blog.
